Richard Schabetsberger
Documentary & Portrait Photographer
My photographs are an invitation – to pause, to discover, to reflect. They are my visual diary, fragments of a narrative that fully unfold over time.
A good image does not merely depict – it lingers in the mind, touches, inspires, and opens space for personal interpretation.
My photographic work seeks to capture the complexity of life – not just to seize the moment, but to make the essential visible and create a connection between image and viewer.
I see photography as a way to forge connections – between places, people, and memories. For me, photography is more than capturing a moment – it is my language for understanding the world and sharing my perspective with others.
Over the years, my work has found its way into exhibitions, collections, and publications. I am now pleased to offer a selection of these images as fine art prints – allowing them to exist beyond their original context, to continue living, and to be appreciated in a personal way.
Thank you for your interest in my work. It means a great deal to me that these images may tell their stories in new spaces.
